She was talking in particular about our new Flower Power Scourer. A kooky Sarah Smith flower shaped sponge Scourer to brighten up the otherwise dreary task of washing dishes.
Unlike the chunky blocks sold by others ours is flexible enough to get into cups & corners and is perfect for saucespans & baking trays!
He was rather sceptical that anyone would want to buy such a silly thing!
We think it will be rather popular!
That certainly was the impression we got from the recent BBC Good Food Show where we quickly sold everyone of the test batch we had taken along.

Terrific idea. Why should mundane cleaning tasks be boring when they can be pretty. LOVE the name and the shape. I'll bet it fits your hand terrific too. Love to give it a try.

I think I'd buy it to give it a go! But for me personally, there would have to be another factor (eg. it can be used on non-stick pans).
I think it's a great idea and would love one! It would appeal to people who like funky and retro things, and also someone with a love for vintage things. :-) It's practical and col at the same time.

I was given some v similar scourers as a gift recently, made by the Danish company Rice....they looked fab, but sadly were not veyr durable and the top scoury bit came unstuck from the spongy bit very quickly.
Yet I would still buy them, just cos I love anything that brightens up the dull job of dishwahsing.
I adore your cloths, love love love them...in fact, am just aboutt o cut up a load into trinagles to make some summer bunting strings for my outside yard...fabulous!!

I think they are a brilliant idea - I would definately use one - would also love a scrubbing brush with a flowery handle too- oh and a toilet brush...anyway, back to the point! I would love to be a home tester too as I hate washing dishes and would love to know if this would help.
Have recently been to Sainsburys specifically to buy 4 packs of your cleaning cloths and ultra cloths after reading one of Attic 24's blogs. They make washing up and kitchen chores much more enjoyable and I also intend to use some for summer bunting!! Would love to help with the trial of the scourers and will email after this.

Anything that cheers me up whilst doing the washing up is a great idea. It will also help keep your pretty cloths cleaner if something else can do the scrubbing!
